Information for individuals reporting to Community Corrections during COVID-19

Due to the decrease in locally acquired cases of the Omicron variant of COVID-19, on the advice of the Chief Health Officer, all community corrections offices across Queensland moved to Stage 2 restrictions from 21 February 2022. These changes apply to all Community Corrections offices within all Regions:

  • Far Northern region
  • Northern region
  • Central region
  • North Coast region
  • Brisbane region
  • Southern region
  • South Coast region

All Community Corrections offices in the State are now at Stage 2 of the COVID-19 Response Plan. This plan allows us to quickly respond to risks by clearly identifying the different restrictions which apply at different stages.

Stage 2 for Community Corrections offices across Queensland means that face to face interviews and home visits will be undertaken with surgical masks worn by staff. Face to face programs, interventions, in-house community service and other external service delivery will continue.
