Political Activities Policies

Political Activities Policies

The Political Activities Policy has been developed to provide guidance to QCS staff when engaging with elected officials and political party candidates. The policy highlights the protocol and importance of impartiality, outlining the approach to be adhered to when members of Parliament or political candidates request, or are invited, to attend QCS facilities in the lead up to an election.

The Political Candidates Policy ensures that QCS employees are aware of their rights responsibilities if they choose to contest in any elections. This policy works to minimise any potential conflicts of interest and ensures that QCS employees act appropriately and undertake their duties in an impartial manner in the period leading up to, and during, election campaigns.
