Email and EFT transfer for prisoners

It is now easier for family and friends to stay in touch with prisoners in Queensland correctional centres.

When signing up for email and electronic funds transfer services, family and friends of prisoners now have the option to receive their security code by email, making signing up easier and faster.

Emails to prisoners are security screened on arrival, and are printed off and provided to prisoners. Family members using the Email a Prisoner service are also now able to attach up to four photographs per email to prisoners.

A statutory declaration may be required to accompany any photographs of children. If required, this is to be uploaded as one of the four attachments.
