Updated: Prisoner abscond from Palen Creek Correctional Centre

**UPDATE**

The prisoner from Palen Creek Correctional Centre has been located and is in the custody of Queensland Corrective Services.

 The matter has been referred to the Corrective Services Investigation Unit, Queensland Police Service.

Police and Queensland Corrective Services officers are searching for prisoner BOL, Philip Chol who absconded from Palen Creek Correctional Centre on 1 October 2022.

He is currently serving one year for illegal use of a motor vehicle.
