QCS Connect
QCS Connect mobile application
QCS Connect Online Services have been introduced for individuals under the supervision of Community Corrections. It will digitise the way officers supervise individuals in the community and provide self-service capabilities while also complimenting face-to-face interactions.
Officers can provide supervised individuals with access to an in-office kiosk, a smart phone mobile application and web portal.
Individuals can be registered by officers during a visit to a Community Corrections office for facial and fingerprint biometrics to allow online services to be used.
Access to online services will be at the discretion of the supervising QCS officer.
The biometrics can be used on the kiosk, and the mobile application can be installed on Android or Apple phones.
The mobile application has been designed to allow users to:
• View, check and update their personal details.
• Respond to an officer’s actions and messages.
• View remaining community service hours.
• View Community Corrections appointments.
• Self-report through the mobile application; and
• Respond to curfew checks.
Supervised Individuals will have 24/7 access to supervision information.
There will be less travel time and cost for the supervised individuals because they may not need to attend an office, becoming more convenient and giving them flexibility in how to respond to officer requests via the mobile application or web portal.
