Southern region is a broad and diverse Community Corrections region – from Ipswich and Inala in Greater Brisbane, over the range to beautiful Toowoomba, and right out to the western and southern borders of Queensland. This provides opportunities to work in a range of workplace settings – from metro through to the outback – with some locations eligible for Remote Area Incentive Scheme.

We focus on providing supportive, nurturing and fun, access to training and professional development, and exposure to broad, diverse offending profiles and offender management practices.

There is never a dull weekend in Southern Region with many local events running throughout the year, such as race days, wineries, rodeos, shopping and nightlife, swimming and water sport locations, great gym and other sporting facilities, sightseeing, excellent hiking trails, music, agricultural and cultural events.
