QCS celebrates #BrisbanePride

Taylor - LGBTIQ training package
#BrisbanePride festival kicks off on 2 September.
For 30 years, Brisbane’s LGBTIQ+ community has come together to celebrate diversity with a history that runs deep within the hearts and minds of Queenslanders.
As a top tier forward facing organisation, Queensland Corrective Services embraces workplace diversity. It provides a depth and richness to our workplace.
Queensland Corrective Services proudly supports our LGBTIQ+ officers. Our diversity is our greatest strength.
Brisbane Region Practice Leader, Taylor Davis reflects the importance of LGBTIQ+ diversity and awareness within our agency.
Working with the Queensland Corrective Services Academy, Taylor created a training package for officers to better manage, supervise and understand the needs of LGBTIQ+ offenders.
Queensland Corrective Services will once again be attending the Pride March and Rally with Commissioner Stewart APM alongside a uniformed contingent of officers on Saturday October 2.
Make sure to visit the QCS stall after the march at the Fair Day at Newfarm Park.
Queensland Corrective Services wishes all the LGBTIQ+ officers and the broader community a happy #BrisbanePride month.
