Recruitment campaign launches at the Ekka

A new recruitment campaign targeting regional Queenslanders was launched at the Ekka today.

With up to 700 full time permanent positions to be filled this financial year, many of them in regional Queensland, the campaign includes a new careers website profiling our officers at the front line of public safety.

The campaign encourages Queenslanders to ‘take a look inside’ to see if they have what it takes to help keep our communities safe.

The positions include 232 new positions at Capricornia Correctional Centre in Rockhampton, which is undergoing a major expansion.
