Today is International Volunteers Day! We wanted to shine the spotlight on our dedicated volunteer, Margaret.

Her passion for sewing is changing lives at the Brisbane North Community Corrections. She selflessly donates her time to teach community service participants sewing skills, helping them create quilts out of repurposed QCS uniforms for those in need.

Margaret’s work has not gone unnoticed, as she recently won the Ownership category at the QBANK Everyday Heroes Awards.
